Smart Pots technology lies in the porosity of the material, a thick geotextile that ensures optimal root development and therefore plant growth. Smart Pots promote excellent root development because the fabric allows for aeration of the potting soil and the root system, a fundamental principle of gardening. Aeration prevents root spiraling, which hinders healthy plant growth. Furthermore, air circulation prevents overheating, which is harmful to roots and soil microorganisms.

Smart Pots are simple to use and easy to clean. They are washable and collapsible for storage. They are made of lightweight and durable material (7 to 10 years). They are unbreakable.

You can add a saucer (to prevent water from running out) or raise the Smart Pots slightly off the ground (on wooden slats for example) to ensure greater aeration for the plants.
