Products & Seeds
We test each batch according to the standards of the International Seed Testing Association, and only batches that exceed these criteria are put on sale.
Germination is guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase.
If, despite following the instructions on the sachet, the results are not satisfactory, we can send you a new sachet.
Please include the batch number in your message.
Yes. Our seeds are certified organic by Québec vrai and are open pollinating .
They are never treated or hybridized (F1), and can therefore be reproduced from one year to the next.
Because they are better adapted to the Quebec climate . By cultivating our varieties here, season after season, they naturally develop better resistance and offer more reliable harvests.
All our seeds are organic and open-pollinated , a key factor in this adaptation.
To maximize their lifespan, store them:
- in a cool place
- dry
- away from light
- in an airtight container (glass recommended)
It varies depending on the species:
- Some retain good germination capacity for 1 to 3 years (e.g., onion),
- others up to 4 to 10 years (e.g., tomato).
The germination percentage at the time of sale is indicated on our packets. This percentage may decrease in the years following purchase.
A simple home test can be used to estimate germination capacity:
- Place 10 seeds on a damp paper towel.
- Fold, put in an airtight bag.
- Keep warm.
- Check from the 3rd day (some species take up to 21 days).
Quick interpretation:
- 8–10 seeds : 80% and above → perfect
- 7–8 seeds : sow normally
- 5–6 seeds : sow more densely
- 4 or less : renew the seeds
Orders & Delivery
Orders are shipped within an average of 7 to 10 business days , depending on the delivery address and product availability.
Yes. Simply select "pick-up at the incense burner" when placing your order.
You can pick it up at the garden center (2855, chemin de l'Écoumène, Saint-Damien) from Monday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We simply ask that you wait for the confirmation email indicating that the order is ready before you travel.
The fees vary depending on the type of product.
For ecumene seeds:
- $25 and up → Free shipping
- $24.99 and under → $5.00
For horticultural products and other items, the costs depend on the delivery class (light parcel, standard, intermediate, etc.).
The shopping cart always displays the fees before payment.
Yes, but:
- Fees and processing times vary depending on the country.
- some countries restrict the import of seeds
- We cannot guarantee international delivery and no refunds are offered for seized or undelivered packages.
If in doubt, we recommend placing a small test order .
Yes, absolutely! Our seeds travel very well in very cold weather.
Once received, simply store them in a cool, dark and dry place, ideally in an airtight container.
No. The cold does not damage them; on the contrary, it promotes their dormancy.
What needs to be avoided are hot temperatures and constant temperature variations , which signal to the seeds that the growing season is beginning.
That's why a bag left near a sunny window is more problematic than a bag left in a post office box at -20°C!
