Traditionally valued for its calming and digestive properties.

Also called "good-smelling wood", it is a plant with a resinous taste reminiscent of bay leaf.

Preparation :

As an infusion: Infuse 15 ml (1 tbsp) of lightly shredded dried herbs in 250 ml (1 cup) of boiling water. Cover to preserve the essential oils. Infuse for 10 minutes, strain, and enjoy.

In cooking: use as a condiment, in place of bay leaf, in stews, sauces, soups, terrines, marinades for meat, game and fish.
