Solitary bees, also called wild bees, carpenter bees, or mason bees, are important pollinators. There are over 350 species of these bees in Quebec. They are the first to pollinate flowers in the spring and represent a vital link in our ecosystem. Provide them with a winter habitat! They will lay their eggs there, which will give rise to life when spring returns.
