Traditionally cultivated for its ornamental and medicinal qualities, winged everlasting was used in Mediterranean herbalism for its anti-inflammatory and healing properties (notably Helichrysum italicum).
But it is above all in the art of dried flower arrangements that it excels: its flowers retain their shape and color long after harvesting, making it a favorite of floral designers.
