A science communicator and prolific author, Michel Leboeuf has already published some fifteen non-fiction books on flora and fauna. A two-time recipient of the Hubert-Reeves Prize for best popular science book, he was editor-in-chief of Nature sauvage magazine for 10 years. He now works for a conservation trust in the Lanaudière region.

Stéphane Le Tirant, curator of the scientific collection at the Montreal Insectarium, is the co-creator of the Butterflies Go Free event at the Montreal Botanical Garden.
