BTK for the suppression of Bioprotec caterpillars

The Btk group of bacteria ( Bacillus thuringiensis ssp. kurstaki ) is used as a biological control agent against lepidopteran pests. It provides effective control of caterpillars in ornamental trees (tent moths, loopers, wax moths, leafrollers, etc.), in vegetable gardens (cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, corn, leeks, etc.) and in fruit trees and shrubs.

Note regarding product shipping: bottles are shipped in warm weather with a cold pack.

• Contact insecticide; therefore, it is applied when young caterpillars appear.
• Use the maximum recommended dose (60 ml/10L) for heavy infestations or when the larvae are large. The powerful mode of action allows for visible effects within a few hours.
