Format

The use of seaweed can significantly improve plant growth and quality. This product should be used as a supplement to a comprehensive fertilization program.

  • A natural soil conditioner, granular seaweed (Kelp) comes from Ascophyllum nodosum .
  • These algae, often called Rockweed or Norwegian Kelp, grow in abundance along the coasts of the North Atlantic where the clean waters are very rich in nutrients.
  • They have a reputation for being the best for fertilization.
  • They are incorporated into the soil as soon as it can be worked in the spring, before sowing or planting.
  • It can also be added to the soil in autumn to increase its organic matter content during the winter.
  • Water the soil thoroughly after each application.
  • The following dosage is a guide only and should be adjusted to local climate, soil type and fertility:
    • Flowering pots: 50g/20cm pot
    • Gardens: 2 kg/10 . Incorporate them into the soil before sowing.
  • Seaweed contains 50-60 trace elements, ±20 amino acids, enzymes and plant growth hormones, which make it an excellent biostimulant.
